DONNY OSMOND TO HOST THE GREAT AMERICAN DREAM VOTE ON THE ABC TELEVISION NETWORK

Have you ever wished your wildest dreams could actually come true? Well now they can, in a way thats only possible on primetime television, as The Great American Dream Vote, a new series hosted by Donny Osmond, is set to air on the ABC Television Network.

From the producers of ABCs The Bachelor comes a new show that gives anyone the chance to make his/her lifelong wishes come true. All you need is the ability to dream big -- and to convince America to vote for you. The producers are looking for real people with real stories who want to make their dreams come alive.

Each episode of The Great American Dream Vote will introduce eight contestants from across America, all of whom will reveal a lifelong dream to the studio audience and explain why they think it deserves to be fulfilled. As the contestants square off, the studio audience will cast votes, eliminating entrants over several rounds. By the end of each show, only two finalists will remain. Then viewers at home will have the opportunity to vote on which of the two most deserves to have his or her dream realized, and the results will be disclosed at the opening of the following weeks episode.

The show is hosted by pop icon Donny Osmond, whose multi-faceted 43-year career has evolved from pre-teen recording idol with the Osmonds into such varied roles as talk show, variety show and game show host, the toast of Broadway in Beauty and the Beast, best-selling author, and solo recording star with 33 gold and platinum records to his credit.

Mike Fleiss is executive producer of The Great American Dream Vote, with Lisa Levenson. Fleiss is the founder of Next Entertainment, and both he and Levenson are also executive producers on the highly successful Bachelor series on ABC. The Great American Dream Vote is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television.
