TELL US YOUR STORY ANIMATED SHORTS FEATURING LOVE STORIES FROM VIEWERS PREMIERE FEBRUARY 1 DURING WHOLE LOTTA LOVE MONTH, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Memorable Romantic Stories From Viewers Debut As Animated Shorts To Appear On-Air and Online

Did you hear the story about the woman who met her knight in shining armor? He rescued his lady love when she got her hair stuck in a weed wacker. Or the story about the couple who met and fell in love at their dogs therapy sessions?

Those are just two of the funny, heartwarming, viewer-generated stories which have been turned into animated shorts as part of the new, ongoing programming initiative, Tell Us Your Story, which begins airing on Hallmark Channel, Thursday, February 1. The first round of 30-second programs feature love stories as part of the networks Whole Lotta Love Month.

The animated shorts are the result of Hallmark Channels invitation to viewers to share their personal stories about romance, family, funny incidents and other memorable moments in their lives. The network has received thousands of viewer stories, many of which have been turned into animated stories narrated by the real-life person whose story is being told. The short programs will also appear online at www.hallmarkchannel.com, also beginning February 2001.

During Whole Lotta Love Month, beginning February 1, Hallmark Channel is featuring an entire month of romantic films and the World Premiere of the Hallmark Original Movie, Love is a Four Letter Word, starring Teri Polo, on February 3.

Following is a rundown of the animated love stories that will begin airing February 1:

From Leanna Thomure (Springfield, Mo.) Leanna tells the story of how a handsome new pharmacist caught her eye and how she set out to get to know him by placing special orders for hairspray every week!

From Bill Reike (Forrest Hill, Md.) Bill tells how he met the love of his life at dog therapy for his yellow lab and his future wifes Weimaraner.

From Lenora Lewis (Beaver Falls, Pa.) Lenora, a cashier at a grocery store, talks about how she relented after a months of being asked out by a co-worker, and how the plane ride and lake visit he took her on cinched the deal.

From Bill Hall (Houston, Texas) Bill talks about how short memories didnt get in the way of loves bloom. On a second date, he couldnt remember what his date looked like and when she went to introduce Bill to her friends, she couldnt remember his name!

From Chuck Stetar (Louisville, Ky.) Chuck met his fianc on a cruise ship and it was love at first sight.

From Inga Kaczmarek (Holiday, Fla.) Inga tells about her high school reunion and how a blind date arranged by her mother made not only the reunion a success, but the rest of her life.

From Deborah Grantham (Henderson, Tenn.) Deborah shares the silly story about how her Knight in Shining Armor came to her rescue when she was doing yard work and got her hair stuck in her weed wacker.

Viewers who want to submit their stories for consideration can visit www.hallmarkchannel.com for more information.
