20 FINALISTS READY TO KICK UP THEIR HEELS AS THE COMPETITION HEATS UP ON "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"

AMERICA BEGINS VOTING FOR FAVORITE CONTESTANTS AFTER THE SEASON'S FIRST PERFORMANCE SHOW WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13, ON FOX

First Two Finalists to be Eliminated on the Results Show Thursday, June 14

Emotions ran high last night on summer's hottest show, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, when the judges announced the 20 finalists who survived the intense Las Vegas call-back auditions. Next Wednesday, the Top 20 will be partnered into 10 couples who will perform dances from a wide variety of genres, including Hip-Hop, Broadway, Disco, Krump, Cha Cha and more. After the Wednesday performance shows, the phone lines will open and viewers will vote for their favorite couples, beginning Wednesday, June 13 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Fans can vote using the branded toll-free telephone numbers (1-888-TEMPO-01, -02, etc.) for at least two hours after the show, subject to time zone limitations.

On the live results shows beginning Thursday, June 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live PT/tape-delayed), the three couples with the lowest number of votes will be announced. Each dancer in those three couples will have one last chance to impress the judges with a solo performance of his or her choosing. After all six dancers have performed, America will find out which guy and girl are going home. Adding to the excitement, Thursdays will also feature live performances by today's hottest music stars.

The third hit season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE is dominating the competition. The series boasts the highest-rated Adults 18-49 telecast for a summer series so far this year.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE-WED is No. 1 in its time period among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos, while SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE-THU ranks No. 1 in its time period among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, and No. 2 in Total Viewers.
