"I Am Mandy Moore" Premieres Tuesday, August 14th At 10:30pm Concert Tapes In New York City Friday, June 22nd

------

NEW YORK, June 8, 2007 Part docu-drama and part musical concert, I Am Mandy Moore is a one-hour special that offers a private look at the very public life of one of today's most beloved young stars. Viewers will get a front row seat to actress and singer Mandy Moore's (Saved!, Because I Said So) hectic life as she balances her acting career while promoting her new album Wild Hope (in stores June 19th) and prepares for her first headlining televised concert. The New York City show will tape on Friday, June 22nd. I Am Mandy Moore premieres Tuesday, August14th at 10:30pm following the Season Two premiere of Tori & Dean: Inn Love.

The special follows Moore who sets out to redefine her musical persona with a heartfelt and organic folk-inspired album. The cameras offer an intimate and raw look as Moore puts everything on the line for the success of an album that allows her to write and record songs she truly believes in for the first time. With rare behind-the-scenes access to Moore, viewers and fans will get to see the goofy, the fun and the self-deprecating side of the star.

"Mandy embodies so many of the qualities in women we celebrate. She's brave, sincere and accomplished, "said Debby Beece, President of Programming and Marketing for Oxygen Media. "This special is something different it's both a concert performance and a reality special that offers a glimpse into how she balances her two huge but separate careers."

I Am Mandy Moore is an Oxygen Network production for which Julie Insogna, Oxygen's SVP of Talent and Music Programming serves as Executive Producer. Insogna is also the Executive In Charge for the long-running Oxygen Custom Concert series. Serving as Supervising Producer for I Am Mandy Moore, is Jeremy Fader whose production credits also include The Bachelor, elimiDate, What Not To Wear and the Dr. Keith Ablow Show.

Debuting June 19th and released by Firm Music in conjunction with EMI Music, Wild Hope is a folk-inspired album which serves as Moore's first foray into songwriting. Produced by John Alagia (John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band), the album boasts the Spring 2007 hit single "Extraordinary" and contributions from some of music's most respected and acclaimed independent and folk musicians including Rachael Yamagata, Chantal Kreviazuk, The Weepies and Lori McKenna.

Mandy Moore is an accomplished singer and actress who rose to pop stardom at the age of 15 with the single "Candy" from her debut album So Real. Moore went on to record the 2000 album I Wanna Be With You, 2001's Mandy Moore with its hit ballad "Crush," and her 2003 cover album Coverage. Moore has also had eclectic and diverse roles in such feature films as A Walk To Remember, the critically acclaimed Saved!, Chasing Liberty, American Dreamz and the 2007 romantic comedy Because I Said So alongside Diane Keaton. Moore also stars in the upcoming release License To Wed and the 2008 motion picture Twist of Fate.
