TBS and TNT to Hook Viewers with Friday, June 15, Simulcast of Blockbuster Movie HITCH, Starring Will Smith

Network Television Premiere Includes Opportunity for One Lucky Viewer to Win a Trip for Two To New York City through the TBS & Red Lobster "Hitch a Ride to New York" Sweepstakes

TBS To Present Additional Prime Time Telecasts All Weekend

TBS and TNT are teaming up for a special simulcast of the network television premiere of HITCH, the blockbuster movie starring Will Smith, Eva Mendes, Kevin James, Amber Valleta, Michael Rapaport and Adam Arkin. The presentation will include a chance for one viewer to win a trip for two to New York City through the TBS & Red Lobster "Hitch a Ride to New York" Sweepstakes. The TBS/TNT simulcast of HITCH will take place Friday, June 15, 8 p.m. (ET/PT). TBS will air additional telecasts of the romantic comedy Saturday, June 16, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) and Sunday, June 17, at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

HITCH, which scored the biggest opening ever for a romantic comedy, features Smith as Alex "Hitch" Hitches, a legendary - and deliberately anonymous - New York City "date doctor" who has helped countless men woo the women of their dreams. While coaching Albert (James), a meek accountant who is smitten with a glamorous celebrity, Allegra Cole (Amber Valletta), Hitch meets his match in the person of gorgeous, whip-smart Sara Melas (Mendes), a gossip columnist who follows Allegra's every move. Hitch suddenly finds himself falling deliriously in love with Sara, whose biggest scoop could very well be the unmasking of Manhattan's most famous date doctor.

Through the TBS & Red Lobster "Hitch a Ride to New York" Sweepstakes, one winner will be chosen at random to receive a four-day/three-night trip to New York City for two, round-trip airfare and accommodations, dinner for two at Red Lobster, a four-hour sailboat tour of Manhattan and $1,000 spending money. Viewers can enter the sweepstakes by clicking on the Contests link at tbs.com and filling out the entry form or by sending a standard-sized letter including the entrant's name, address, telephone number, e-mail address (if any) and age to "TBS & Red Lobster Hitch a Ride to New York Sweepstakes" Entry, P.O. Box 233, Florham Park, NJ 07932. Red Lobster will also drive consumers to the contest through the "What's New" section of their Web site and within an email blast to the more than 1 million Overboard Club newsletter subscribers. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. June 15. No purchase is necessary to win. Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the 48 contiguous states. Additional information is available at tbs.com.
