BRAVO'S DOCU-DRAMA "FLIPPING OUT" DELVES INTO HIGH STAKES, HIGH DRAMA WORLD OF COLORFUL LOS ANGELES HOME FLIPPING PREMIERES, TUESDAY, JULY 31st AT 10PM ET/PT

"I found a business that validates and celebrates my disorders" --Real estate investor Jeff Lewis, star of Bravo's "Flipping Out"

NEW YORK JUNE 28, 2007 You don't have to be crazybut it helps. Bravo's new series "Flipping Out," premiering Tuesday, July 31st at 10PM ET/PT on Bravo, follows the antics of one of Los Angeles' most colorful real estate speculators, Jeff Lewis. It takes a special kind of personality to handle flipping six multimillion-dollar houses at one time, but Lewis, an obsessive compulsive successful businessman, pulls it off and turns a six-figure profit on every property. Lewis makes his living with the help of a group of diverse and oft disgruntled employees he counts as friends. These include an assistant who moonlights doing voiceover work, a housekeeper and two house assistants, as well as his official "trash man," who moonlights as an actor and his assistant's husband. Add to the mix his business partner and former boyfriend, his various therapists and spiritual advisors and it's clear that this intriguing cast of characters lives as one big dysfunctional family.

"Let's face it, the people I have working for me aren't necessarily the most qualified individuals," notes Lewis. "But the people that take care of me and my home and my pets are the most important part of this business. They can't leave. I can't do this without them."

Like most families, Lewis' extended family has its share of issues, which results in the occasional confrontation and even a firing or two. Aware of his "Flipping Out" tendencies, Lewis attempts to counteract them with therapy, spiritual healers, psychics, and other advisors, but things are always flipping in Lewis' world. Each day comes with a new barrage of problems, from dealing with workers not showing up to the job site, to learning that his cat, Monkey, is having an adverse reaction to his acupuncture session. Despite mounting pressure to sell some property in order to keep his business afloat, Lewis' pets and surrogate family frequently become the focus of his attention. When a beloved cat goes missing for a few hours, it creates a mini-crisis that brings Lewis' life to a complete standstill. And it just may spell the end for one of his employees.

On www.BravoTV.com , the site will feature in-depth character biographies as well as provide a new twist on the traditional bio with "my sixty second life story" in which each cast member gives the quick down 'n dirty on their life on video. Fans will also find blogs including a video blog from Lewis where they can get more information on his pets, his career and other pressing matters. Jenni's video blog will feature her observations on what its like to work for an obsessive compulsive, and why Lewis and his ex-life-partner, now-business partner Ryan were a good couple. In addition to exclusive photo galleries, the site also will feature bonus video outtakes from each episode and exclusive webisodes that were too hot for broadcast.

Available on wireless devices, overworked employees everywhere can text FLIP to 27286 (Bravo) to get Flipping Their Lid: weekly messages from Flipping Out's disgruntled crew. Find out their exact job descriptions, qualifications, and what they do to cope. It's a weekly reminder to put a step in your work shoes and thank your lucky stars that you don't have THEIR jobs.

The Staff:

JENNI (Executive assistant) On Lewis: "He's crazy, but a lot of geniuses are crazy." Jenni is usually seen wide-eyed with disbelief. Ever the optimist, she tries to protect her co-workers from Lewis' rants.

STEVE (First house assistant) On his job: "I have to put the bottles in the fridge with all of the labels facing out or there will be hell to pay." Steve's patience is tested when he is asked to take the cat for acupuncture.

CHRIS (Trash Man) On his relationship with Lewis: "I think I've been fired five or six times, but I think I'm capable of being the third house assistant." Lewis gives him yet another chance to be the third assistant, but his lack-luster performance has Lewis questioning his decision again. Chris's wife, Jenni, quickly comes to his defense.

ZOILA (Housekeeper) After moving some pillows for Lewis: "I'm tired. I need to sit down." Zoila proves to be a rock in Lewis' crazy world. Never fazed by his rants, she is there for his every need.

RYAN (former boyfriend and current business partner) - Ryan tries to be the calm one in most situations, but Lewis seems to find something to disagree with him about.

BRANDT (Second house assistant) On working for Lewis. "I don't get paid enough to deal with this." Subsequently, Lewis fires him as he quits.

Flipping Out is produced by Authentic Entertainment, with Lauren Lexton and Tom Rogan serving as executive producers.
