Jonas Brothers and Kat DeLuna Will Perform During the LIVE Telecast

NEW YORK � August 8, 2007 � "Dancing With the Stars" semi-finalist and "Extra's" popular weekend correspondent Mario Lopez will host NBC's broadcast of MISS TEEN USA� 2007 live from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA on Friday, August 24th, 2007 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Nineteen-year-old singing superstar, Kat DeLuna will perform "Whine Up" and the sensational Jonas Brothers will perform a medley of their hits "Hold On" and "S.O.S." during the telecast.

Katie Blair, Miss TEEN USA� 2006, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the primetime telecast. Each contestant from 50 states and the District of Columbia will compete in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview.

Hailing from Montana, Blair has enjoyed an active reign, volunteering closely with Best Buddies, Sparrow Club and GMHC. After spending time in New York and attending the New York Film Academy, she hopes to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Ultimately, Blair will continue her college education and looks forward to earning a degree in Marketing and Advertising.

The Miss TEEN USA� title proved to be a major stepping stone in launching the careers of several former titleholders including: Vanessa Minnillo, Bridgette Wilson-Sampras and Kelly Hu, to name a few. Former Miss Teen USA contestants include Access Hollywood and Today Show correspondent Maria Menounos and MTV's TRL host and former Miss USA, Susie Castillo.

The Miss Universe Organization, producers of the MISS UNIVERSE�, MISS USA� and MISS TEEN USA� Pageants, is a Donald J. Trump and NBC Universal partnership. Miss Teen USA spends her year building relationships with organizations committed to education and action, such as Best Buddies, Outside the Classroom, Do Something, Sparrow Clubs and D.A.R.E.
