WE tv Expands Wedding Related Programming Building on the Success of We Go Bridal

New York, NY - August 8, 2007 - Building on the momentum seen this summer with WE tv launching its largest brand and content expansion in its six year history with the launch of We Go Bridal, the network announced today an extensive slate of new originals and acquired series and specials all related to weddings and the bridal community. New programming series include: Wedding Central, Rich Bride Poor Bride and The Fabulous Life Presents: VH1's Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. Specials include: 10 Most Famous and Fabulous Wedding Dresses and Beach Weddings. The new programming continues WE tv's investment in wedding related programming that maintains to fill a valuable void in the marketplace.

"This summer WE tv dramatically increased its wedding content on the network, branded a special evening each week for wedding programming, and built an online portal of shared bridal content and information all under the WE Go Bridal block, said Kim Martin, EVP and GM of WE tv. Wedding Central (6 eps; 1 hr)

Wedding Central is an anthology series of 6 stand alone shows, produced by LMNO Productions for WE tv, which follow the key players in a wedding other than the bride including the bridesmaid, caterer, cake decorator, in-laws, etc. Premiering August 12th episodes include: Wedding Cake Masters, The Wedding Place, Married by the In-Laws, The Wedding Planners, Always a Bridesmaid, and This Old Spouse.

Rich Bride, Poor Bride (26 eps; 1/2hr)

Rich Bride Poor Bride, premiering on August 13th, is an acquired series from Buck Productions that takes a closer look into the life of a wedding planner as they work with a couple trying to make the wedding of their dreams while remaining within the confines of their tight budget.

The Fabulous Life Presents: VH1's Big Fat Fabulous Wedding (7eps;1/2 hrs)

The Fabulous Life Presents: VH1's Big Fat Fabulous Wedding, premiering in December 2007, is an acquired reality series, from Pink Sneakers Productions and VH1, about the outrageous behavior that is displayed when a rich couple plans their extravagant wedding.

In addition to the series, WE tv will also premiere the following stand alone specials including:

10 Most Famous And Fabulous Wedding Dresses- This hour long special, premiering in Feb 2008, is WE tv's countdown of the top ten most famous wedding dresses in the world. Experts and designers take the audience behind the scenes to discuss the dresses in detail. 10 Most Famous And Fabulous Wedding Dresses is produced by Kaos Entertainment for WE tv.

Beach Weddings - Premiering in February 2008, this special features four weddings, in four diverse beach locations with four unique beach themes. The hour long special takes place in California. Beach Weddings is produced by Kaos Entertainment for WE tv.

Launched in June 2007, We Go Bridal, has created a multi-platform destination point for weddings and the bridal community. The initiative has expanded beyond the success of WE tv's signature series, Bridezillas, which helped define the television bridal genre when it premiered in 2003, and marked an important new mandate for the cable network.
