NBC'S 'THE BIGGEST LOSER' PUTS TRAINERS BOB HARPER, KIM LYONS AND JILLIAN MICHAELS TO THE TEST ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2 IN SERIES' NEW TIMESLOT OF 8:30-10:00 P.M. ET

Trainers Face Food Temptation That Could Give Them a Great Advantage When They Join Their Teams to Compete in This Week's Challenge

BURBANK -- September 26, 2007 -- In a special twist, it's the Biggest Loser trainers Bob Harper, Kim Lyons and Jillian Michaels -- not the contestants -- who are put to the test with a food temptation on Tuesday, October 2, in the series' new regular timeslot of 8:30-10:00 p.m. ET following "The Singing Bee" at 8:00 p.m.

The three trainers are offered tempting treats by host Alison Sweeney, lured by the promise that whoever accepts the offer could win a significant advantage for their team in this week's challenge. After the contestants watch closely to see if their trainers will practice what they preach especially knowing it could give their team an advantage, the blue, red and black teams square off in a vigorous challenge with trainers competing right alongside their team members. The winning team's surprising reward is revealed at the weigh-in, after which another contestant is sent home following a tough elimination round.

The "Biggest Loser" contestants have lost a combined total of 448 lbs. in just the first three episodes of the new season.

"The Biggest Loser" is a production of Reveille LLC, 25/7 Productions and 3 Ball Productions. Ben Silverman (NBC's "The Office," "Ugly Betty"), Dave Broome ("A Model Life with Petra Nemcova," "Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope"), JD Roth ("Age of Love," "Beauty and the Geek"), Todd A. Nelson ("Unan1mous," "Beauty and the Geek") and Mark Koops ("Blow Out," "Shear Genius") serve as executive producers.
