NEW YORK, Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 Viewers can expect more from the mind of comedian Carlos Mencia as COMEDY CENTRAL has ordered a fourth season of the weekly hit, "Mind of Mencia," it was announced today by Lauren Corrao, executive vice president of original programming and development. The fourth season of "Mind of Mencia," which is executive produced and created by Mencia and Emmy Award-winning Robert Morton, will premiere in the spring of '08.

"Carlos Mencia is a huge asset to our network," said Corrao. "With the success of the third season, his COMEDY CENTRAL LIVE Tour and his 'No Strings Attached' DVD going platinum, Mencia connects with our audience on every level. We are excited about the new season and look forward to expanding our relationship with Carlos into the next year."

"I look forward to doing another season of 'Mind of Mencia,' said Mencia. "I hope this doesn't mean I can't be on 'Dancing with the Stars.'"

"Mind of Mencia: Season 3 Uncensored" DVD hits stores on Tuesday, October 23. The two-disc set features 14 episodes completely uncensored. Bonus materials include audio commentary and deleted scenes.

Shot in studio and on location, "Mind of Mencia" is based on Mencia's unique point of view of the world including such topics as ethnic stereotypes, race relations, immigration, war, patriotism, capitalism and family with brutal honesty and unrelenting provocation. The show includes Mencia's comments on pop culture and current events, man-on-the-street interviews, commercial parodies, as well as interaction with the studio audience.

Currently, Mencia stars opposite Ben Stiller and Michelle Monaghan in "The Heartbreak Kid," a DreamWorks film directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, as Uncle Tito, the sarcastic and colorful manager of the hotel where Stiller's character stays on his honeymoon with the woman he hastily married (Malin Akerman), slated for release next month. Last summer, Mencia completed the highly successful "The Punisher Tour," a sold-out headlining stand-up tour of over 60 cities. The tour sold more than 270,000 tickets, making it the biggest tour of any Latino comedian to date.

Credits for "Mind of Mencia" include Carlos Mencia and Robert Morton as executive producers with Lee Kernis and Tim Sarkes from Brillstein Entertainment Partners serving as producers. Zoe Friedman is the executive in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

COMEDY CENTRAL, the only all-comedy network, currently is seen in more than 91 million homes nationwide.
