CBS's NFL Runover (New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts) Attracts 38.46 Million Viewers

CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 and just -0.1 of a rating point from first in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 4, week six of the 2007-2008 television season.

CBS dominated the week in viewers, placing first on five consecutive nights-Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The week, which included the first four nights of the November sweep, saw the premiere of the 12th edition of THE AMAZING RACE attract the largest ever first episode audience for the five time Emmy Award winning adventure-reality series; highest ratings since their premieres for SURVIVOR: CHINA and WITHOUT A TRACE and highest ratings in nearly two years for 60 MINUTES. The week was capped off with 38.46 million viewers for the prime NFL runover of the New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts.

For the week in viewers, CBS (12.33m) outpaced ABC (11.33m), NBC (7.98m) and FOX (7.01m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.13m), ahead of ABC (11.53m), FOX (9.53m) and NBC (8.76m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/10, -0.1 behind ABC). Season to date, CBS and ABC are tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.5/11, each).

For the week in households, CBS (7.8/13) was +5% ahead of ABC (7.4/12), +56% ahead of ahead of NBC (5.0/08) and+81% head of FOX (4.3/07). Season-to-date, CBS remains first (7.7/13), +1% ahead of ABC (7.6/12), +31% ahead of FOX (5.9/10) and +40% ahead of NBC (5.5/09).

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (9.8/16), viewers (14.85m), adults 25-54 (5.6/14), adults 18-49 (4.6/12) and adults 18-34 (3.5/09).

? NCIS was first in households (10.4/17), viewers (16.33m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, with FOX) behind "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown." This is NCIS's fifth consecutive win in households, viewers and adults 25-54.

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (14.94m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, -0.2 behind ABC).

? CSI: NY was first in households (8.7/15), viewers (13.40m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).

? SURVIVOR: CHINA was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (14.44m), adults 25-54 (6.0/15) and adults 18-49 (4.9/13). SURVIVOR: CHINA posted its best viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 deliveries since the 9/20/07 first episode. SURVIVOR: CHINA has won its time period in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for seven consecutive weeks.

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was a strong second behind a 67 minute "Grey's Anatomy" in households (11.9/18), viewers (19.06m, -0.25m behind ABC), adults 25-54 (7.4/16) and adults 18-49 (5.7/14).

? WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (9.7/16), viewers (14.58m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and adults 18-49 (3.9/10). This is WITHOUT A TRACE's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since the program's 9/27/07 season premiere.

-- On Friday, CBS was first in households (5.7/10), viewers (8.69m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). CBS was won every half-hour in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week. CBS has finished first every Friday this season in households, viewers and adults 25-54, first in adults 18-49 five Fridays out of six this season.

? GHOST WHISPERER was first in adults 25-54 (3.5/11), adults 18-49 (2.5/09), tied for first in households (6.0/11, with NBC) and second in viewers (9.18m, -0.26m behind NBC). GHOST WHISPERER has won its time period every week this season in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

? MOONLIGHT was first in adults 25-54 (2.9/08), adults 18-49 (2.2/07), second in households (4.9/09) and viewers (7.55m). MOONLIGHT has placed first in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for three consecutive weeks and five of the last six weeks this season.

? NUMB3RS was first in households (6.1/11), viewers (9.34m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). NUMB3RS has been first in households, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 every week this season and first in viewers for the last five weeks.

-- CBS's NFL run over posted a 22.3/36 with 38.46m viewers from 7:00-7.27 PM, leading the time period in households, viewers, adults 25-54 (15.5/38) and adults 18-49 (14.2/38). The entire game posted a 20.1/36 with 33.82m viewers 13.9/38 in adults 25-54 and 12.9/38 in adults 18-49, the best viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 deliveries of any program on any network since the Academy Awards on Feb. 25, 2007.

? 60 MINUTES (7:26-8:26 PM) was first from 7:30-8:30 PM in households (11.9/19), viewers (19.24m), adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (5.0/12). This is 60 MINUTES' best delivery in households since Nov. 19, 2006 and in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Dec. 11, 2005.

? THE AMAZING RACE 12 (P) (8:26-9:26 PM) posted its best delivery ever for a first episode of any season of THE AMAZING RACE in both households (8.3/12) and viewers (13.72m) and the best delivery in both adults 18-49 (4.3/10) and adults 25-54 (5.2/11) since THE AMAZING RACE 8's Sept. 27, 2005 premiere. Compared to the Fall 2006 premiere of THE AMAZING RACE 10 (on Sept.17, 2006), CBS was up +32% in households (from 6.3/10), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/10), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/09) and added +3.59m viewers (from 10.13m, +35%).

? COLD CASE (9.0/14, 13.89m viewers from 9:26-10:26 PM) delivered its best adults 18-49 (3.5/08) and adults 25-54 (4.7/10) performances since March 25, 2007. Compared to last week, COLD CASE was up +18% in households (from 7.6/11), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/09), +17% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/07) and +2.11m viewers (from 11.78m, +18%).
