U.S. Broadcast Premiere Slated Under The 'Spike Guy Movies' Umbrella

NEW YORK, Dec. 13 -- Academy Award(R)-winning actor Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby"), Academy Award(R)-winning actor Kevin Spacey ("The Usual Suspects"), LL Cool J ("S.W.A.T.") and Justin Timberlake in his first major feature film role star in "Edison Force," premiering on Sunday, December 23rd from 10 p.m. - 12 midnight (ET/PT) on Spike TV. This U.S. broadcast premiere is slated under the "Spike Guy Movies" umbrella that will air throughout 2008.

"Edison Force" is an intense action-thriller about a fresh-faced journalist who finds his life in danger when he uncovers a den of corruption in the Edison police department. While reporting on a homicide case, Pollack (Timberlake) witnesses a suspicious exchange and begins his own investigation into the murder. What he finds is just the tip of the iceberg of a powerful network of corruption within the city's justice system. In order to save his own life, Pollack must rely on the guidance of a jaded reporter (Freeman) and a private investigator (Spacey) to help him expose the truth.

The film's remarkable cast also includes Golden Globe(R) Award-winning actor Dylan McDermott ("The Practice"), Emmy Award-nominated actor John Heard ("The Sopranos"), Cary Elwes ("Saw"), Damien Dante Wayans ("House M.D."), Piper Perabo ("The Prestige") and Roselyn Sanchez ("Without a Trace").

Millennium Films presents a Randall Emmett/George Furla Production of a VIP Medienfonds 3/ Nu Image co-production in association with Rising Star, a film by David J. Burke. "Edison Force" is produced by Randall Emmett, George Furla, Boaz Davidson and John Thompson. Andreas Schmid, Andreas Grosch, Avi Lerner, Danny Dimbort and Trevor Short serve as executive producers. Shawn Williamson is line producer. "Edison Force" was written and directed by David J. Burke.
