The highly anticipated FOX series TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES will serve as the centerpiece for a new integrated marketing partnership between Verizon Wireless, the Warner Bros. Television Group and the network. The promotion, coinciding with the series' launch, boasts mobile, digital, network on-air, cable on-air and off-air components and extensions. TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES makes its series premiere on Sunday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and time-period premiere Monday, Jan. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

"Partnering with Verizon Wireless enables us to align the natural synergies between a high-concept series and the capability of Verizon Wireless' cutting-edge technologies," said Jean Rossi, Executive Vice President, Sales for Fox Broadcasting Company and President, Integrated Sales and Marketing for FOX ONE.

"Partnering with Verizon Wireless allows us to create an engaging, multiplatform marketing campaign with significant reach for TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES," said Sonia Borris, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Operations, Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing. "We are committed to developing innovative fan experiences with our network and advertiser partners that will connect and enhance a fan's relationship with the series."

Kicking off the extensive marketing partnership is the "Get Terminated" mobile market-to-market tour. From Jan. 9 to Jan. 30, 2008, Verizon Wireless-sponsored and TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES-branded buses will visit top markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, Washington D.C., Phoenix, St. Louis, San Diego and Charlotte, targeting Verizon Wireless retailers and other heavy-traffic locations. Once there, "Terminator" street teams will distribute branded premium items and invite fans aboard the bus to "Get Terminated" by filming an action scene opposite a Terminator in front of a green screen. The completed video clip will be sent to the fan's email and/or Verizon Wireless phone, where it will then be available to share with friends and family, and to post on social-networking sites like MySpace.

The mobile extensions of the integrated marketing initiative grant V CAST subscribers access to exclusive, specially-produced TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES mobile offerings. Only V CAST subscribers will have access to an exclusive interactive mobile game based on TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, which will serve as an exciting companion piece to the series and allow fans to delve deeper into its mythology. Each week, Verizon Wireless customers will use clues given during the broadcast to access the text game via their mobile phones and solve the puzzle. Fans who play the game will be rewarded with exclusive content not available anywhere else, including ringtones, wallpapers, behind-the-scenes footage and a chance to enter the "Behind the Scenes" Sweepstakes. Additionally, V CAST subscribers will have exclusive access to sneak peeks and episode recaps before and after every episode. Plus, they will have the first look at "Director's Takes," behind-the-scenes vignettes about the creation and making of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, which are shot on-location with unprecedented access, revealing secrets and little known aspects of the series' production.

Verizon Wireless and FOX will host the official, red carpet premiere event for TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES at the famed, state-of-the-art ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Jan. 9. Cast, producers and fans will celebrate the long-awaited premiere with a star-studded after-party.

The multifaceted partnership will also extend online with the creation of a Verizon Wireless-branded TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES microsite within FOX.com, offering unique content tied to the FOX series.

In addition, Verizon Wireless will leverage their association and relationship with the new series on cable by promoting their TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES mobile extensions during multiple upcoming telecasts of "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" on FX.
