U.S. Broadcast Premiere Slated Under The "Spike Guy Movies" Umbrella

New York, NY, February 5, 2008 � Steven Seagal ("Under Siege") and Eddie Griffin ("Undercover Brother") star in "Urban Justice," premiering on Sunday, February 24 from 9 p.m. � 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on Spike TV. This U.S. broadcast premiere is slated under the "Spike Guy Movies" umbrella that will air throughout 2008.

"Urban Justice" is a fierce, action-packed thriller about a father determined to avenge his son's violent death. When his son is killed in an apparently random drive-by shooting, Simon Ballister (Seagal) is incensed to find that the police department has closed the case due to lack of evidence. He decides to launch his own investigation by moving into the worst part of town, where gang violence is rampant and he is immediately confronted by two rival gangs, led by Armand (Griffin) and El Chivo (Danny Trejo). Both are surprised to find that Ballister is no ordinary man - he not only has Special Forces training, but he has no fear and no mercy. The perpetrators are forced to run for cover as Ballister's investigation deepens and he begins to uncover a conspiracy that goes far beyond a random drive-by.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment presents an XIT Financial Group production in association with Steamroller Productions, a film by Don E. Fauntleroy. The film is produced by Steven Seagal and executive produced by Phillip B. Goldfine and Tracee Stanley-Newell. "Urban Justice" is written by Gilmar Fortis II and directed by Don E. Fauntleroy.
