TOP 10 GUYS PERFORM NEXT TUESDAY, FEB. 26, FOLLOWED BY THE TOP 10 GIRLS ON WEDNESDAY, FEB. 27; FOUR MORE GO HOME ON THE THURSDAY RESULTS SHOW, FEB. 28 ON FOX

The first week of audience voting produced yet another highlight for the seventh season of AMERICAN IDOL, as over 28 million votes were cast after Tuesday and Wednesday's performance shows. Tonight on this season's first results show, the four semifinalists � two girls and two guys � who received the fewest votes were eliminated from the competition. It was revealed that the AMERICAN IDOL journey ended for Colton Berry, Joanne Borgella, Amy Davis and Garrett Haley. During the performance shows, Colton Berry, 18, from Staunton, VA, sang "Suspicious Minds;" Joanne Borgella, 25, of Hoboken, NJ, sang "I Say a Little Prayer;" Amy Davis, 25, who hails from Lowell, IN, sang "Where The Boys Are;" and Garrett Haley, 17, from Elida, OH, sang "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do."

Next week, the Top 10 guys (David Archuleta, Robbie Carrico, Jason Castro, David Cook, Chikezie, David Hernandez, Michael Johns, Luke Menard, Danny Noriega and Jason Yeager) will take the stage once again, singing for America on Tuesday, Feb. 26 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT). Then it's the ladies' turn, as the Top 10 girls (Kristy Lee Cook, Asia'h Epperson, Alexandr�a Lushington, Kady Malloy, Ramiele Malubay, Syesha Mercado, Amanda Overmyer, Carly Smithson, Alaina Whitaker and Brooke White) perform in hopes of winning America's vote on Wednesday, Feb. 27 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT). Tune in the following night to see who receives enough votes to stay in the competition, and who goes home. Another two guys and two girls will be eliminated on the live results show Thursday, Feb. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
