MARCH MARKS CHILLER'S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Premieres Include "Strange World" and "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein"

BURBANK, Calif. February 28, 2008 Fans can join in the celebration all month long as Chiller reaches its first year anniversary. Viewers will be treated to weekend marathons, a "green-creatures" themed St. Patrick's Day and an insanity-filled Easter Sunday. "Chiller Frightmare" nights will continue and viewers will be introduced to "Strange World," from the creator of "Heroes" and producer of "24," as well as a Chiller original special: "The 2007 Dare 2 Direct Film Festival."

Saturday, March 1 marks one year of Chiller. Viewers will join in the festivities by controlling what is scheduled on the network that day, by logging on to Chillertv.com and selecting their favorite programming. Additionally, a Chiller original special, "The 2007 Dare 2 Direct Film Festival" will air 12 p.m. and 1:30 am ET , as well as pilots of three new series: "Strange World" at 6pm and 4am , "Freakylinks" at 7pm and 3 a.m and "The Others" at 7pm and 2 a.m. ET.

"It's a momentous occasion this month with the anniversary of Chiller," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice President, Emerging Networks, NBC Universal Cable. "We're inviting our fans to celebrate with us and we're debuting new series and films to celebrate our first year."

A weekend marathon of young troublemakers comes to Chiller on Friday March 14. The menacing youth begin Friday with Linda Blair in "The Exorcist" at 9pm and 12:30am ET. Children are on the loose in "Village of the Damned" on Saturday, March 15 at 7am and 3:30pm ET and "Demon Seed" at 5pm and repeating on Sunday, March 16 at 3pm ET. Viewers get a second dose of scary with "The Exorcist II: The Heretic" on Saturday, March 16 at 9pm and 12:30am. Sunday, March 16 delivers trouble at a high school in "The Rage: Carrie 2" at 11am and 5pm ET followed by "Children of the Corn II" at 9pm and 12:30am.

It's green creatures galore on St. Patrick's Day, Monday, March 17. "Ghoulies" kicks off the holiday at 10am and 4pm ET followed by some bad luck in the Chiller premiere of "Leprechaun 5: Back 2 The Hood" at 9pm and 4am ET. Another Chiller premiere finishes off the day with Kenneth Branagh and Robert DeNiro in "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein" at 12am ET.

Easter egg hunts have never been so terrifying. Easter Sunday, March 23 on Chiller is filled with the most frightening Easter "basket cases" , beginning with "Lord of Illusions" at 11am and 12am ET, "Phantasm IV" at 3pm ET and "Amityville II: The Possession" at 5pm and 9pm ET.

There are strange occurrences on Friday, March 7 at 8pm, 11pm and 2am ET as "Strange World" arrives on the Chiller network. From Tim Kring, the creator of "Heroes," and Howard Gordon, the producer of "24," "Strange World" portrays military officers investigating phenomena while a shadow organization is watching their every move.
