MTV Invites Fans Inside "Live from the Hills Season Finale" On-Air and Online on May 12th Beginning at 8pm ET/PT Usher to Perform Live at Finale Event Hosted by "The Hills" Cast

Phenomenon Continues With Season 4 Premiering August 2008

Santa Monica, CA (May 6, 2008) � MTV gives viewers unprecedented access to celebrate the highly anticipated season three finale on Monday, May 12th beginning at 8PM ET with "Live From The Hills Season Finale." The cast of "The Hills" will join fans at the ultimate finale event live from a mansion in Beverly Hills as we get up close and personal with the cast like never before. To culminate this incredible night, LaFace/Zomba Label Group artist Usher will take the stage for a live performance of his #1 hit, "Love In This Club." And for even more exclusive footage from the event, fans can check out http://www.thehills.mtv.com which will offer exclusive photos, live blogging and a bonus performance from Usher.

The drama doesn't end there� With fans demanding more on-air and online, MTV has picked up the hit series for a fourth season scheduled to premiere in August 2008. Fans can continue to follow their favorite LA ladies with 19 new episodes.

Before the big night, on May 10th at 9 PM ET/PT, fans can watch behind the scenes stories from some of "The Hills" most memorable moments as told by the cast and crew during "The Hills: Off The Record."

In the season finale, Audrina feels shut out by Lauren's close friendship with Lo, and wants to move out. Lauren makes a heartfelt attempt to patch things up with Audrina, but it may be too late. Meanwhile, Spencer fears he's going to lose Heidi forever when he learns she's taking a job in Las Vegas.

The star-studded night continues as Usher will be joined by Young Jeezy for an unforgettable performance of his #1 hit, "Love In This Club." Also on hand will be popular "After Show" hosts Jessi Cruickshank and Dan Levy to get reactions from the cast immediately following the season finale. Fans will have the opportunity to ask all the probing questions on everyone's minds. Beginning at 11:30 PM ET, fans can catch a special sneak peek of a brand new series starring the Sweet 16ers you love to hate. Averaging a 4.3 P12-34 rating, the third season thus far has reached over 41.6 million viewers (P2+), with over 23.4 million from MTV's P12-34 core demo. "The Hills" is the most watched series in cable among P12-34 for 2008-to-date and is watched by more F18-24 viewers than any show on broadcast television this season. This spring's season three premiere (3/24/08) earned the show a record 5.0 rating among P12-34� the highest-rated cable telecast of the year so far for P12-34.

Since the premiere in March, fans have flocked to MTV.com to view show and After Show clips, snagging them and embedding them on their own personal web pages and blogs. With over 750,000 unique visitors a week and more than 32 million streams viewed through MTV's new premium video player, "The Hills" consistently ranks as the top show area on MTV.com.
