SCI FI CHANNEL AND SCIFI.COM MOVE FURTHER INTO GAMING WITH LAUNCH OF CONSUMER GAME SITE FIDGIT AND GAME CENTER

NEW YORK May 29, 2008 SCI FI Channel and SCIFI.COM, the world's most heavily-trafficked SCIFI Website, will launch the all-new, consumer entertainment general game site FIDGIT on Thursday, May 29, it was announced today by Craig Engler, Senior Vice President of SCI FI.COM and SCI FI Magazine. FIDGIT will deliver content that is surprising, fun and factual, while maintaining an objective point of view. It will be written with the attitude and language of gamers, but for players who may or may not be genre fans.

FIDGIT, part of a portfolio of expansion sites, is the latest extension of the SCI FI brand following in the success of DVICE, SCIFI.COM's tech site. It will review games, cover industry trends and game play, comment on and analyze game creation. News of game makers and the latest games will be reported on, along with game strategies, market trends, conferences and luminaries including players and designers as well as game hacks, virtual easter eggs and cheats. Tom Chick, who has been writing professionally for over fifteen years about the videogaming industry for numerous sites and publications, will be FIDGIT's content editor.

"We're thrilled to have Tom working on FIDGIT, which is the next step in expanding the SCI FI brand into content areas that we know our users are excited about and where we see significant advertising potential," said Craig Engler.

FIDGIT will create a gallery of images, some of which will be submitted by readers, and will feature screen grabs, player photos, player dress-ups, products and accessories. It will also publish a weekly newsletter recapping the week's news along with in-depth articles. Features and topical lists will illustrate the unique nature of game life such as the top accessories, careers in the industry and the most elusive virtual easter egg. With multiple daily posts from an in-the-know roster of contributors, gamers will have the latest updated information available.

SCIFI.COM recently launched Game Center, a casual gaming site with 10 original games that highlight the most successful brands including: Welcome to Eureka, Soul Pool, Eureka Mind Games, Carter's Car Dodge and Frakjack among others. The site features show-oriented trivia quizzes where viewers can test their knowledge and even write their own quizzes.

SCIFI.COM is the world's largest sci-fi entertainment Web site with more than 3 million unique visitors each month. Its award-winning original content ranges from a daily entertainment news service, SCI FI Wire, to the SCI FI Pulse broadband network, which serves millions of streams of original video each month.

SCI FI Channel is a television network where "what if" is what's on. SCI FI fuels the imagination of viewers with original series and events, blockbuster movies and classic science fiction and fantasy programming, as well as a dynamic Web site (www.scifi.com ) and magazine.
