DR. PHIL TO BE PRODUCED IN HIGH DEFINITION THIS FALL

(Los Angeles, CA, June 2, 2008) - Dr. Phil has always come through with unmistakable clarity, but beginning September 8, he will take that one step further as his self-named talk show will be produced in HD.

"My goal has always been to give our viewers the very best in show content, and now we are able to offer the very best broadcast quality," said Dr. Phil McGraw, host and Executive Producer. "This puts us on the cutting edge of technology."

The Stage 29 facilities on the Paramount Pictures Studios lot where DR. PHIL tapes is undergoing extensive upgrades, including a new control room, set changes and a state-of-the-art AVID editing facility. The latter involves a complete upgrade of the show's 18 edit bays. This is where the set-up tape segments, which are vital to the look of each episode, are built.

Those viewers with HD television sets will see a more detailed picture than standard definition, while viewers without access to HD televisions will still notice a difference with a crisper, brighter picture.
