Channel Presents '31 Days of Halloween' Marathon

'Ghost Hunters Live' Returns With 3rd Annual Halloween Investigation

Beverly Hills, CA-July 20, 2008-This fall, SCI FI Channel is the ultimate destination for all things Halloween, featuring all-new episodes of Ghost Hunters, the 3rd annual Ghost Hunters Live Halloween event and the all-new 31 Days of Halloween programming extravaganza! Beginning October 1, this marathon will serve up the spookiest fare that Halloween has to offer, concluding with Ghost Hunters Live on Halloween night. The immensely popular event will take place this year at the historic Fort Delaware in Delaware City, DE.

In June 2008, the Ghost Hunters, led by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, paid their first visit to the notoriously haunted Fort Delaware. Built in the mid-1800's and primarily used as an artillery defense for the Union during the Civil War, it eventually became a Civil War POW camp, housing over 33,000 Confederate soldiers. The conditions at Fort Delaware were grim, and over the years, it eventually became home to thousands of deaths. After capturing a variety of paranormal encounters during this first investigation, the team eagerly returns to Delaware this Halloween to explore this historic haunt!

Ghost Hunters Live will wrap up SCI FI's 31 Days of Halloween marathon. Featuring over 250 hours of horror and sci-fi movies, series, miniseries and originals, the marathon of chills begins October 1 at 8am and concludes on Halloween night with Ghost Hunters Live. Highlights include horror favorites The Grudge, Saw, Freddy vs. Jason and Night of the Living Dead. Viewers can tune into daytime marathons of their favorite classic sci-fi series X Files and Haunted, and more, and in primetime can catch new episodes of fright favorites Ghost Hunters and Scare Tactics.
