Sundance Channel Adds British Comedy Series "Pulling" to Sunday Night Comedy Block

Series to Premiere on Sunday October 19th, 2008

New York, August 11, 2008 - Sundance Channel has added the British comedy series "Pulling" to the Sunday night comedy block. It was announced today by Sundance Channel EVP and GM Laura Michalchyshyn. The six episode series will premiere on Sunday, October 19th at 9:00pm.

29-year-old bride-to-be Donna (Sharon Horgan) heads out on her Hen Night with a group of her very best friends. During the festivities, she comes to a sudden realization that perhaps getting married to her long -term boyfriend Karl (Cavan Clerkin) isn't the best of ideas. After breaking the news to Karl, Donna moves in with her single friends Karen (Tanya Franks) and Louise (Rebekah Stanton) where, over six episodes, she attempts to keep watch over her now suicidal ex-fianc� and secure a job all while suffering from the effects of nights out with her aging but hard partying friends.

"Pulling" is produced by Phil Bowler and directed by Tristram Shapeero. The series distributed globally by FremantleMedia Enterprises, premiered on BBC Three and has attracted an audience of 0.5 million viewers together with a 2.0% in the 16 - 34 audience market share, exceeding BBC3's time slot average by 18%.

The Sunday night comedy block premieres on September 7th at 9:00pm with the series "The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle" starring Jennifer Saunders and Miranda Richardson.
