THE AMAZING RACE (CBS) - Travel Channel is the latest cable channel to snag the off-network rights to the Emmy-winning reality series. GSN and Fox Reality Channel have also carried repeats of the series in recent years. As for Travel, the pact with CBS Television Distribution is exclusive to seasons 12-14 of the show. Season 12 then is due to premiere on Wednesdays at 8:00/7:00c starting September 3. No financial details about the acquisition however were released.

DENISE RICHARDS: IT'S COMPLICATED/KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS (E!) - Executive producer Ryan Seacrest has reupped his massive overall deal with Comcast Entertainment Group. The new three-year pact covers his duties on "E! News" and the network's "Live From the Red Carpet" specials through 2012 as well as expands Ryan Seacrest Productions's first-look rights to all of the company's networks - which include E!, Style Network, G4, Versus, the Golf Channel, Exercise TV, FearNet, Comcast Sportsnet and PBS Kids Sprout - through 2011. It's believed the new contract is valued in the eight-figure range as his original 2006 pact was worth $21 million. Former WMA agent Adam Sher was recently tapped to run the day-to-day operations of Seacrest's banner.

FORTUNE'S CHILDREN (HBO, New!) - Arthur T. Vanderbilt II's 1989 tome, subtitled "The Fall of the House of Vanderbilt," has been optioned by producer Joel Silver as a possible series for the pay channel. Jim Solomon has been tapped to pen the project, which will depict the Vanderbilt family saga at the turn of the 20th century as the clan grapples with a declining fortune, extravagances and social-climbing instincts. He'll also executive produce alongside Silver and Jane Semel.
