-- Movie Has Reached Over 45 Million Total Viewers --

-- Soundtrack Has 10 Weeks on Billboard's Top 10 --

Burbank, September 3, 2008 . . . The programming event "Camp Rock Freestyle Jam," an encore presentation of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie for kids and families, "Camp Rock," with special new interstitials featuring two of the movie's stars, Alyson Stoner and Roshon Fegan, encouraging viewers to create their own dance moves, will be presented SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Since premiering in the United States on June 20, "Camp Rock" has reached over 45.4 million unduplicated viewers worldwide. It begins to debut later this month in India, Southeast Asia, Australia and Europe, highlighted by a VIP premiere and concert appearance in London by the hugely popular Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.

The "Camp Rock" soundtrack has spent a remarkable 10 weeks in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, shipping Platinum in the United States, Canada, Central America and Venezuela, and Gold in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. Six tracks have made it to the Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown, and "Play My Music" and "This is Me" went to #1.

In the U.S., "Camp Rock" is the #1 cable telecast of 2008 in Total Viewers (10.1 million) and TV's #1 entertainment telecast in Kids 6-11 (4.0 million) and Tweens 9-14 (3.8 million). In Total Viewers, it is also the #1 non-sequel DCOM in the network's history and is #2 overall, behind only the record-setting cultural sensation, "High School Musical 2."

The "Camp Rock: Extended Rock Star Edition" on DVD and Blu-Ray is in its second week on sale in North America. Bonus features are: an extended scene at the movie's end, Sing-Along and Karaoke, "How to Be a Rock Star," "Jonas Brothers: Real Life Rock Stars," "Introducing Demi Lovato," "Too Cool: Setting The Stage," "Hasta La Vista: From Rehearsal to Final Jam" music videos, and a photo gallery -- "Camp Memories."

Disney Publishing's "Camp Rock: the Junior Novel," a novelization of the Disney Channel Original Movie, spent several weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. Additional "Camp Rock"-inspired consumer products launched at Target and Disney Stores nationwide this summer, generating strong sales from the Disney Channel Original Movie's premiere through the back-to-school season and into the Halloween pre-season.

The Disney Channel programming event "Camp Rock Freestyle Jam" will include two of the movie's multi-talented stars, Alyson Stoner and Roshon Fegan, leading a breakdown of the dance moves from the musical numbers "Start the Party" and

"We Rock." Illustrations of the dance moves will also be available for download at disneychannel.com/camprock beginning September 12. Leading into this September 20 telecast, Disney Channel U.S. will present a "Rockin' Saturday" (12:00 noon-8:00 p.m., ET/PT) with music-themed programming including the Disney Channel Original Movie "Stuck in the Suburbs," starring Danielle Panabaker and Brenda Song (of Disney Channel's "The Suite Life on Deck"), episodes of the comedy series "Phineas and Ferb," "Hannah Montana" and "Cory in the House," and eight episodes of the short-form series "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream."

Alyson Stoner stars as Caitlyn Geller in "Camp Rock" and is the voice of Isabella Garcia-Shapiro in Disney Channel's animated hit series "Phineas and Ferb." She studied ballet, tap and jazz and trained with choreographers Wade Robson, Fatima Robinson, Debbie Allen and Hi Hat. Roshon Fegan stars as Sander in "Camp Rock." He has extensive dance training from the BK Acting Studio and USC 32nd Street Performing Arts.
