RACHAEL RAY Rolls Into Season Three With Emmy in Hand and a Focus on Giving Back

NEW YORK, Sept. 4 -- RACHAEL RAY, which recently won an Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show, returns for its third season on Monday, September 8th with "Rachael Ray on Wheels," a full episode aboard a Double Decker bus in New York City, with guest emcee Ed McMahon. Also during premiere week, Rachael celebrates a personal milestone with viewers and some surprise guests. Plus, RACHAEL RAY kicks off the Kenmore-Elite sponsored "Rach to the Rescue," where a RACHAEL RAY outfitted Fleetwood RV will travel to cities across the country with eight television cooks and come to the rescue of viewers in need of culinary expertise.

Season three of RACHAEL RAY will focus on value and giving back. Rachael considers her viewers her family and is committed to showing them ways to have a great life during tough economic times. Whether it's ways to stretch a dollar at the grocery store, how to entertain friends on the cheap, bargain back to school clothes or recipes you can stretch out for the whole week, RACHAEL RAY is bringing budget back.

This season, Rachael will continue to invite celebrity guests to pull up a chair to her kitchen table. Upcoming guests include: Paula Abdul, Jessica Simpson, Rosie O'Donnell, Mariah Carey, Dr. Phil, Robin McGraw, America Ferrara, Shannen Doherty, New Kids on the Block, Eva Mendes, Senator John McCain, Tyler Perry, Ty Pennington, Chandra Wilson, Joy Behar and many more.

Last season, RACHAEL RAY won the Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment Emmy and for the past two seasons the hit syndicated show secured a spot among the top daytime programs, after having the highest rated premiere for any first-run syndicated talk show since the 2002 launch of "Dr. Phil."

In its first two seasons, RACHAEL RAY has attracted exceptional guests such as Oprah Winfrey, Diane Sawyer, Former President Bill Clinton, First Lady Laura Bush, Dustin Hoffman, Teri Hatcher, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner, Kelsey Grammer, Diane Keaton, Dr. Phil McGraw, Michael J. Fox, Morgan Freeman, Ringo Starr, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Hudson, Mandy Moore, LL Cool J, Felicity Huffman and Ali Larter, to name a few.

RACHAEL RAY, the Emmy Award winning Outstanding Talk Show, is distributed and produced by CBS Television Distribution in association with Harpo Productions, Scripps Networks and Watch Entertainment. Janet Annino is executive producer. CBS Television Distribution is a unit of CBS Corp.
