MyNetworkTV Rethinks Wednesdays, Sets Fall Specials

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- MyNetworkTV has revised its plans for Wednesday nights this fall.

In addition, the netlet has locked in dates for a handful of specials, including its new celebrity roast franchise "Shaken Not Stirred."

Here's a breakdown of the scheduling updates:

-- "The Tony Rock Project" will now lead off Wednesday nights at 8:00/7:00c starting October 8 followed "Under One Roof" at 8:30/7:30c and the premiere of "World's Funniest Moments" at 9:00/8:00c. "Moments" previously served as the lead-in to "Rock" and "Roof."

-- "Under One Roof" will initially run repeats from earlier this year as originals won't start until Wednesday, November 5 at 8:30/7:30c. The network still has two installments from its 13-episode order that have yet to air.

-- A special "WWE Divas"-themed edition of "Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed" is set for Thursday, October 2 at 9:00/8:00c. The series will then move to its regular time period of Mondays at 9:00/8:00c on October 6.

-- "Shaken Not Stirred" will debut on Wednesday, October 29 at 9:00/8:00c with a second installment set for Wednesday, November 19 at 9:00/8:00c. The latter edition will feature Pamela Anderson while the former's roastee wasn't specified. Bobby Brown, Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Run and Ice-T are also on tap to be roasted in future editions.

-- Other upcoming specials include: "2008 Tour of Gymnastics Superstars" (Friday, September 26); "Heroes at Home" (Tuesday, November 11); and "The 2008 World Magic Awards" (Wednesday, November 26).
