STARZ ENTERTAINMENT PSYCHED FOR START OF PRODUCTION ON ORIGINAL COMEDY SERIES "HEAD CASE"

All Star Guest Lineup to Include; Playboy Mogul Hugh Hefner, Recording Artist Macy Gray, WWE Star Dave Batista, SNL Alum Kevin Nealon and Many More!

New Episodes Debut this Spring 2009

Englewood, Colo. - October 9, 2008 - Dr. Elizabeth Goode is back in session, as Starz Entertainment announces start of production on 10 all-new episodes of acclaimed comedy series "Head Case." The unscripted series returns with an all-star lineup of celebrity guests this Spring 2009.

"Head Case" centers on Tinseltown's "shrink du jour" Dr. Elizabeth Goode (Alexandra Wentworth, "In Living Color"). Judgmental and unconventional, but undeniably thriving as the "it therapist" to Hollywood's celebrity elite, Dr. Goode's days are filled with a who's who from the world of entertainment, sports and music and this Spring is no exception.

This Spring on "Head Case," the doctor's appointment book bulges with a long list of celebrity clientele. Amongst those arriving for a mental tune-up are: Playboy kingpin Hugh Hefner with girlfriend Bridget Marquardt, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, SNL alum Kevin Nealon, "Survivor" host Jeff Probst, TV reality stars Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott, superstar songstress Macy Gray, "CSI New York's" Melina Kanakaredes, WWE star Dave Batista and many more.

"'Head Case' was our first original half-hour comedy to debut on Starz and we are all excited to see it grow alongside our ever-expanding slate of top notch original TV programming," said Stephan Shelanski, executive vice president programming, Starz. "The true strength of this show stems from Ali Wentworth's natural comedic instincts and the ability to offer our talent an open forum, where improvised dialogue and creativity are always encouraged. The final result is an eccentric, unconventional, unpredictably hilarious TV series, which we are proud to air on Starz."

"Head Case" is a Starz Entertainment original production in association with Farrand/Bauer Productions. The series created by Alexandra Wentworth and Robert Farrand, is executive produced by Farrand/Bauer partners, Robert Bauer and Jason Farrand together with Alexandra Wentworth. Series is directed by Jason Farrand.
