Opportunity No Longer Knocking for Abc

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has pulled newcomer "Opportunity Knocks" from its schedule, effective immediately.
A "Dancing With the Stars" recap special will fill the Tuesday, 8:00/7:00c hour on October 21 while pre-emptions had already been announced for October 28 ("It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown") and November 4 (ABC's election coverage).
Production has also been halted on the series after nine episodes, just three of which have aired. No return date has been set.
The show's most recent broadcast on October 14 drew a modest 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 where it finished fourth in its time period.
Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg, Karey Burke, Todd A. Nelson and J.D. Roth are the executive producers of the series, a co-production of their respective companies 3 Ball Productions and Katalyst Films.
