CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM (HBO) - Production on the show's seventh season is set to begin in December, network sources confirmed this week. 10 new episodes are set to be produced for an air date sometime in 2009. Larry David is set to return, as are presumably co-stars Cheryl Hines, Vivica A. Fox and Jeff Garlin. No other details about the new season were given.

HEROES (NBC) - Former "Aliens in America" star Dan Byrd has scored a recurring role on the show's fourth "volume." He'll play David, a dark and twisted kid who tells lies easily and has a cruel streak, in at least three episodes. No other details about his role were confirmed.

HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA (HBO) - Shannyn Sossamon and Scott Mescudi have both joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about two enterprising downtown twentysomethings (Bryan Greenburg, Victor Rasuk) who hustle their way through New York determined to achieve the American Dream. Ian Edelman is behind the half-hour, which Julian Farino is directing. "Entourage's" Mark Wahlberg, Rob Weiss and Stephen Levinson are the executive producers.

KINGS (NBC) - Macaulay Culkin ("Home Alone"), Miguel Ferrer ("Crossing Jordan"), Michael Stahl-David ("The Black Donnellys") and Leslie Bibb ("Line of Fire") have all scored roles on the midseason drama. Culkin will play the nephew of King Silas (Ian McShane), who was exiled for mysterious reasons. Roles however weren't specified for the remaining trio. "Kings" is currently set to roll out on Sunday nights in early 2009.

THE WASHINGTONIENNE (HBO) - Jason Dohring ("Moonlight") and Kate Burton ("Grey's Anatomy") are the latest additions to the Sarah Jessica Parker-produced comedy pilot, about the professional and personal lives of three smart, sophisticated 28-year-old girls working on Capitol Hill. Dohring will play Spencer, a senior legislative assistant for the same senator for whom Jackie (Rachel Taylor) works; with Burton as Joy, the senator's put-upon personal assistant. Amanda Walsh, Bitsie Tulloch and David Furr also star in the half-hour, which is based on Jessica Cutler's book of the same name.
