MyNetworkTV Benches "Expose," "Roof"; More Changes
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- MyNetworkTV is revamping its fall lineup as "Celebrity Expose" and "Under One Roof" are heading to the sidelines.

Other changes include new homes for "World's Funniest Moments" and "The Tony Rock Project" as well as a December schedule that will see nearly all of its original series take a break.

Here's a breakdown of the various moves:

-- Back-to-back repeats of the short-lived UPN series "The Twilight Zone" will take over for "Expose" on Monday nights at 8:00/7:00c starting November 3 as a lead-in to "Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed."

-- Wednesdays starting November 5 will see "World's Funniest Moments" assume the 8:00/7:00c slot followed by back-to-back episodes of "The Tony Rock Project" (an original episode followed by a repeat) at 9:00/8:00c.

-- Upcoming specials include "Heroes at Home and Abroad" (Tuesday, November 11), "The 2008 World Magic Awards" (Wednesday, November 26), "Eyes on Kenya" (Tuesday, December 2), "The 2008 World Music Awards" (Wednesday, December 3) and "Soul of Christmas" (Tuesday, December 16) as well as the previously announced "Shaken Not Stirred: Al Sharpton" (Wednesday, October 29) and "Shaken Not Stirred: Pamela Anderson" (Wednesday, November 19).

-- And finally, beginning Monday, December 1, all of MyNetworkTV's original series - save for "WWE Smackdown" on Fridays - will go on hiatus in favor of movies, specials and other holiday-themed programming. Said originals, including "Jail" and "Street Patrol," will then presumably return in January.
