ABC Sets Return Date for "Jim," End Date for "Boston"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Two ABC veterans will say hello and goodbye in December.
The Alphabet has booked the two-hour series finale of "Boston Legal" for Monday, December 8 at 9:00/8:00c.
Meanwhile, "According to Jim" will rejoin the network's lineup for its eighth season on Tuesday, December 2 at 9:00/8:00c with back-to-back episodes.
Said announcements come as ABC preps its "Dancing With the Stars"-less winter schedule, which is expected to include the return of "Lost" and "The Bachelor"; the network premiere of "Scrubs"; and the launch of its Tyra Banks/Ashton Kutcher-produced reality project.
