EMMY AND GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD WINNER TOM SELLECK STARS IN "JESSE STONE: NO REMORSE," A NEW TELEVISION MOVIE THAT HAS STARTED PRODUCTION IN HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA FOR BROADCAST ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

"Jesse Stone: No Remorse," Is the Sixth in the Series of Jesse Stone Movies

Emmy and Golden Globe Award Winner Kathy Baker ("Picket Fences") Returns

JESSE STONE: NO REMORSE, starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Tom Selleck, ("Magnum P.I."), has started production in Halifax, Nova Scotia for broadcast on the CBS Television Network. Selleck reprises his Emmy nominated role as Jesse Stone ("Jesse Stone: Sea Change") in the sixth installment of the Jesse Stone franchise from Sony Pictures Television. The series includes "Stone Cold," "Jesse Stone: Night Passage," "Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise," and "Jesse Stone: Sea Change," the picture for which he received the nomination. Still to air is the fifth picture in the series, "Jesse Stone: Thin Ice." The movies are based on the best-selling series of books written by Robert B. Parker.

In JESSE STONE: NO REMORSE, Police Chief Jesse Stone, having been suspended by the Paradise, Mass. Town Council, begins moonlighting for his friend, State Homicide Commander Healy, by investigating a series of murders in Boston, leaving Rose and Suitcase to handle a crime spree in Paradise on their own. Convinced the Boston murders have a connection to the notorious crime boss, Gino Fish, Jesse pours his energy into his work in an effort to push away the professional and personal insecurities he's avoiding at home in Paradise.

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Kathy Baker and Kohl Sudduth reprise their roles as Rose Gammon and Luther "Suitcase" Simpson, the only police officers in Paradise. Stephen McHattie reprises his role as State Homicide Commander Healy, as does William Devane as Jesse's psychiatrist, Dr. Dix, and William Sadler as Gino Fish. Saul Rubinek returns as Hasty Hathaway, fresh from a stint in prison, and Krista Allen joins the cast as Hathaway's ex-wife, Cissy, who never misses an opportunity to tell Jesse she's interested.

JESSE STONE: NO REMORSE is a production of TWS Productions II and Brandman Productions, Inc. in association with Sony Pictures Television. Emmy Award nominee Michael Brandman ("The Heidi Chronicles" and "Into the Woods") and Tom Selleck are the executive producers; Emmy Award nominee Steven Brandman ("The Heidi Chronicles") is the producer. Emmy Award nominee Robert Harmon ("Ike: Countdown to D-Day" and "Gotti," as well as the five previous Jesse Stone movies) is directing from a script by Tom Selleck and Michael Brandman.
