13 to Get January 7 Start on the Cw

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The models should be afraid.

The CW is set to roll out "13: Fear Is Real" on Wednesday, January 7 at 8:00/7:00c, bridging the gap between the netlet's cycles of "America's Next Top Model." Encores will also air in the Friday, 9:00/8:00c slot.

Originally set for a summer 2008 launch, the series features competitors as they try to face their darkest fears with the winner receiving a cash prize of $66,666.

Jay Bienstock, Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi are the executive producers.
