LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- HBO has ordered a third series from hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons while Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton are once again set to be the focus of the pay channel's "24/7" series.
"Russell Simmons Presents Brave New Voices" will premiere Sunday, April 5 at 11:00/10:00c. The series tracks teen poets competing for the chance to earn a spot at the National Slam Poetry Championship in August. Previous Simmons offerings include "Def Comedy Jam" and "Def Poetry."
Meanwhile, "Pacquiao/Hatton 24/7" will launch Saturday, April 11 at 9:30/8:30c. The four-week series, which follows the build up to their May 2 fight in Las Vegas, will conclude Friday, May 1 at 8:30/7:30c.
Also due in April: season two of "In Treatment," airing Sundays at 9:00/8:00c (Mia and April) and Mondays at 9:00/8:00c (Oliver, Walter and Gina).
