BRAVO LENSES NEW PROGRAMMING WITH PICK-UPS FOR THIRD SEASON OF "SHEAR GENIUS" AND NEW SERIES "DOUBLE EXPOSURE"

Network Combs The Nation For Talented Stylists To Compete On "Shear Genius"

NEW YORK - MARCH 5, 2009 - Today, Bravo announced season pick-ups for a third season of the hit creative competition series "Shear Genius" and the docu-series "Double Exposure," featuring renowned art and fashion photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani. The announcements were made by Frances Berwick, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Bravo Media.

"Double Exposure" (working title) follows photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani, along with high-end stylist GK Reid, giving viewers a taste of the fast-paced world of high fashion and celebrity photography. From album covers for David Bowie and Beyonc to prize-winning photographs of celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Kate Winslet, Markus and Indrani have shot virtually every contemporary boldface name and countless other iconic images for fashion campaigns and magazines. With two former lovers working together 18 hours a day in incredibly high-stress environments, filled with deadlines, stretched budgets, expensive locations and demanding talent, it's not unusual for sparks to fly both on camera and outside the frame. "Double Exposure" is produced by Juma Entertainment for Bravo. Bob Horowitz and Lewis Fenton serve as executive producers.

Bravo's hair-raising creative competition series "Shear Genius" will be returning for a third season and is seeking the nation's hottest hairstyling experts. Open calls for stylists interested in competing in the high-stakes hair-cutting competition series will be held in cities across the country starting this week. The series offers a captivating behind-the-scenes look at the competitive and creative world of high-end hairstyling, determining which contestants are a cut above and deserving of the ultimate title of "Shear Genius," along with the $100,000 grand prize.
