And now, the landmark series is back for a seventh season on Animal Planet. Beginning Sunday, April 5, at 7 PM (ET/PT) viewers once again can experience the unpredictability and excitement of the animal kingdom. This season, each episode features top scientists and experts as they take you through captivating landscapes where its inhabitants struggle to survive and thrive in the most challenging of conditions.

The premiere of MUTUAL OF OMAHA'S WILD KINGDOM kicks off with the remarkable tale "Tigerhounds." After a tiger fatally mauls a local Bangladesh woman in her sleep, villagers turn to a scientist to determine the cause of the violent attack. In a last-ditch effort to drive the rogue tigers back into the wild, scientists enlist the help of some unlikely candidates -- street dogs. With the help of expert dog trainer Marielle Schmidt, scientists attempt to transform these lowly mutts into local heroes. Will the "tigerhounds" save the lives of both humans and tigers, or will this unconventional approach prove you can't teach old dogs new tricks?

With new episodes airing each Sunday for six straight weeks, other thrilling adventures featured in this season of MUTUAL OF OMAHA'S WILD KINGDOM include the following:

a herpetologist endeavoring to save the gharial (the world's oldest crocodilian) from an epidemic that puts it on the brink of extinction
