ABC NEWS TO BROADCAST PRESIDENT OBAMA'S PRESS CONFERENCE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29 AT 8:00 P.M., ET - HIS 100TH DAY IN OFFICE
Plus: "The First 100 -- What's Changed?" To Be Featured Across ABC News Broadcasts & Platforms
On Wednesday, April 29, President Barack Obama's 100th day in office, ABC News will broadcast live coverage of his press conference from 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET. Charles Gibson will anchor and will be joined by Chief Washington Correspondent and host of "This Week" George Stephanopoulos and Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper.
Also this week, the broadcasts and platforms of ABC News are taking an in-depth look at what President Obama and his administration have accomplished so far and the challenges that lie ahead. "The First 100 - What's Changed?" features in-depth reporting and analysis, as well as the results of an ABC News/Washington Post public opinion poll on the President's first three and a half months in office.
Coverage of "The First 100" began this weekend on "Good Morning America," "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" and "World News Sunday." Reporting and further poll analysis will be featured this week on "GMA," "World News with Charles Gibson" and its webcast, as well as "Nightline."
ABC News Radio will provide reports taking stock of the President's first 100 days and what's to come in the next year. ABC News Radio will also provide live anchored coverage of the President's press conference on Wednesday. ABC News Radio Correspondent Aaron Katersky will anchor from New York, with ABC News Radio White House Correspondent Ann Compton in Washington.
ABC News Digital will feature text stories, video highlights and slideshows devoted to President Obama's first 100 days in office, and ABC's "Top Line," hosted by David Chalian and Rick Klein, will also report on the topic. On Wednesday, ABC News NOW will provide live coverage of the President's address beginning at 8:00 p.m., co-anchored by Rick Klein, Senior Political reporter and author of "The Note", and White House Correspondent Yunji de Nies. The coverage will be live streamed on ABCNEWS.com.
