HARD KNOCKS (HBO) - The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to be the focus of the show's upcoming fifth season. Due on August 12, the new five-week season will track everyone from owner Mike Brown to coach Marvin Lewis to prolific wide receiver Chad Ocho Cinco over the course of their 2009 training camp. Lewis was previously featured during the show's inaugural season while serving as the defensive coordinator of the then reigning Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.
THE HILLS (MTV) - "Laguna Beach" alum Kristin Cavallari is set to join the cast of the sibling series. She'll make her first appearance on the show's midseason finale on Sunday, May 31 before coming aboard full time for the back half of said 20-episode season. The 22-year-old aspiring actress caught the bouquet at the April 25 wedding of the series' co-stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
REAPER (The CW) - Producer ABC Studios reportedly is in talks with CW affiliate stations about reviving "Reaper" as a syndicated series. Said hour would help fill the void by the now Sunday-less affiliates. Standing in its way however are multiple hurdles, such as the exit co-creators Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters to 20th Century Fox Television, the casting of co-star Tyler Labine in FOX's upcoming comedy "Sons of Tucson" and the usual budgetary issues.
