LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The CW has opted to cancel all four of its "bubble" series - comedies "Everybody Hates Chris" and "The Game" as well as dramas "Privileged" and "Reaper."

"It's truly heartbreaking," "Privileged" creator Rina Mimoun told Entertainment Weekly about the news. "I'm so grateful to everyone out there who supported our little show and fell in love with Megan Smith. She was the most delightful character I've ever had the pleasure to write and watching JoAnna Garcia bring her to life every day was a gift I will never forget. I'm incredibly proud of the work we did and forever indebted to all the fans, critics and to Warner Bros. for being so wonderful and supportive. I will miss this more than you know."

As for "Reaper," said development had been expected as co-creators Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas inked a two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television last month while co-star Tyler Labine is toplining FOX's midseason comedy "Sons of Tucson." Producer ABC Studios nevertheless is looking at taking the show to cable or first-run syndication, where it may wind up on CW affiliates.

"Chris" and "Game" likewise were longshots to return as the netlet is getting out of the half-hour business.

The CW announces its 2009-10 season plans on Thursday.
