SEVEN NEW SERIES PICKED UP FOR FALL; ONE FOR MID-SEASON

NEW SERIES INCLUDE "THE GOOD WIFE," "NCIS: LOS ANGELES," "THREE RIVERS," "ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE," FOR CBS AND "MELROSE PLACE," "THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE," "THE VAMPIRE DIARIES" AND "PARENTAL DISCRETION ADVISED" FOR THE CW

May 21, 2009 - New York, New York - CBS Television Studios received orders for eight new series, seven new series for Fall, one for mid-season. In total, CBS Television Studios will have 27 shows including 19 series returning from last season.

The new Fall series include: "The Good Wife," starring Julianna Margulies; "NCIS: Los Angeles," starring Chris O'Donnell and LL COOL J; "Three Rivers," starring Alex O' Loughlin for CBS; the CBS comedy "Accidentally on Purpose," starring Jenna Elfman; and the highly-anticipated updated version of "Melrose Place;" "The Beautiful Life" from Ashton Kutcher and starring Mischa Barton, "The Vampire Diaries" (co-production with Warner Bros.) and for mid-season "Parental Discretion Advised" (formerly "Light Years") starring Britt Robertson for The CW.

The roster of popular and critically-acclaimed series includes CBS's phenomenally successful CSI franchise, along with "NCIS" and "Numb3rs." In addition, the Studio's roster includes The CW's newest hit series "90210;" "Medium," starring Emmy Award-winner Patricia Arquette and A&E's "The Cleaner," starring Benjamin Bratt which will air its second season this June. Additionally, the Studio claims five of the top 10 most watched scripted series in primetime including, "CSI," "NCIS," "Criminal Minds, "CSI: Miami" and "CSI: NY."
