24 (FOX) - Jennifer Westfeldt ("Notes from the Underbelly") and John Boyd ("The Notorious Bettie Page") are the latest additions to the show's upcoming eighth season, which will see nine major new roles. She'll play Meredith Reed, "an ambitious journalist with ties to Arman Hashemi (Anil Kapoor), a Middle East leader who comes to the U.S. on a peacemaking mission." Boyd then is set as CTU systems analyst Jonah Schwartz. Production on the new season begins today.
