NBC ANNOUNCES DAMIEN FAHEY AND MYLEENE KLASS AS CO-HOSTS FOR NETWORK'S LIVE SUMMER TELEVISION EVENT 'I'M A CELEBRITY.GET ME OUT OF HERE!' PREMIERING JUNE 1

UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIF. - May 27, 2009 - NBC announced today that Damien Fahey and Myleene Klass will serve as co-hosts for its new, groundbreaking, live summer television event "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" that kicks off on Monday, June 1 with a two-hour special from 8-10 p.m. (ET).

Fahey is known to audiences as the host of MTV's "Total Request Live ("TRL") where many of today's A-list celebrities and musicians personally requested him for interviews. A talented and dedicated broadcaster, Fahey has hosted numerous radio and television shows including "Live! With Regis & Kelly," where he has been called upon as a recurring host. Recruited by MTV for its "Beach House" segments, he was quickly promoted to "TRL" host in 2002, where he held the distinction of being the only veejay to simultaneously host and write for the show.

Myleene Klass is one of the biggest stars in the United Kingdom and was a participant herself in the 2006 version of "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" that propelled her to a successful career where she was "Queen of the Jungle" and the top searched-for celebrity in the world by the United Kingdom Internet users. The multi-talented Klass is a television host, entertainer and musician. In 2001, she was chosen from thousands of singing hopefuls to become one of five members of the reality pop band Hear'Say, winners of the singing competition show "Popstars," that went on to sell two million CDs. A talented pianist, she signed a solo recording deal and reached #1 in the classical charts. Klass hosts "Weekend Breakfast" on Classic FM and writes monthly features in Classic FM Magazine, titled "Myleene's Hot Property and Prima Baby." Additionally, she also hosts her own monthly movie review show on CNN International, where she interviews some of today's hottest stars. In 2008, she released her first book, "My Bump and Me," which went straight to the Top-10 bestseller charts.

"We are so fortunate to have both of these incredible talents lend their wit, wisdom and experience to the show and they will serve as the prefect compliment to our celebrity participants" said Jayson Dinsmore, executive producer of "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!"

Based on the hit UK series, "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" is the ultimate "Swiss Family Robinson" as the celebrities will be dropped into the heart of the Costa Rican jungle to face fun and comedic challenges designed to test their survival skills. America is the puppet master, controlling their favorite celebrities by putting them into challenges and tasks to win food, supplies and luxury items. In each episode, friendships will be tested, hilarity is expected and viewers will decide which celebrities stay or go. The last remaining star will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle, winning a substantial cash prize for their favorite charity.

In a unique scheduling move, following the two-hour premiere on June 1, "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" will air over four weeks in June from 8-9 p.m. (ET). For three weeks, the show will air Mondays through Thursdays. During the fourth week of June, the series will be telecast Monday through Wednesday, with the finale being telecast on Wednesday, June 24.

Additionally, each Sunday, beginning June 7, MTV will air a marathon of the week's episodes including never-before-seen footage and commentary from cast members in real time, providing an enhanced viewing experience for diehard fans.

The series is produced by ITV Studios, Inc. (formerly known as Granada America.) Jayson Dinsmore, Chris Brogden and Natalka Znak serve as executive producers; Michael Brooks, Tamsin Dodgson and Rachel Watson are the co-executive producers.
