KEEP COOL IN AUGUST WITH U.S. PREMIERE SEASONS OF SKINS AND TOP GEAR ON BBC AMERICA
SKINS U.S. PREMIERE
Critically acclaimed dramedy, Skins, returns with an all new season and a fresh young cast. It's the show that had everyone buzzing and now it's time for a new set of hilarious and downright audacious adventures. As TV Guide said "The randiest 16-year-old students on TV are back. No, not those rich Upper East Siders but the kids on this award-winning British series that tackles every teen issue bound to induce parental nightmares."
Skins continues to push boundaries in ways only teenagers can, while telling shocking and sometimes heartbreaking stories about the trials of adolescence. The Class of 2009 is headed up by the beautiful and mysterious Effy (Kaya Scodelario), returning as the new queen bee. She's joined by best friend, Pandora (Lisa Blackwell) and a trio of suitors Freddie (Luke Pasqualino), J.J. (Ollie Barbieri) and Cook (Jack O'Connell). Together the gang bond as they fall in and out of love and lust, fight one another, compete with each other and unite as one. Skins premieres Thursday, August 6, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
