Braden Fails to "Click" with His Fellow Houseguests and Is the First to Be Evicted from the "Big Brother" House
CBS details the latest "Big Brother" elimination.

[via press release from CBS]

BRADEN FAILS TO "CLICK" WITH HIS FELLOW HOUSEGUESTS AND IS THE FIRST TO BE EVICTED FROM THE "BIG BROTHER" HOUSE

Braden Becomes the First Houseguest To Be Evicted From The "BIG BROTHER" House

After being nominated for eviction by Head-of-Household Jessie, Braden was evicted last night from the BIG BROTHER House. Once the Houseguests voted a tie was declared which left Jessie with the deciding vote, and he chose to send Braden home.

After moving into the BIG BROTHER house, the Houseguests were separated into four high school cliques. Ronnie, Michele and Chima are "The Brains"; Kevin, Lydia and Casey are "The Off-Beats"; Natalie, Jeff and Russell are "The Athletes"; Jordan, Laura and Braden are "The Popular" clique. The Houseguests then competed in their first competition, an endurance challenge called "The Wedgie," where each Houseguests slipped on a giant pair of underwear and were hoisted into the air, creating the ultimate high-school wedgie. Natalie and Russell were the last two standing and ultimately won safety and privileges for "The Athletes." In addition, "The Athletes" also won a 4th member for their clique, Jessie Godderz from BIG BROTHER 10 (the former 13th "Mystery Houseguest"), who automatically received the coveted Head-of-Household position and gave their clique an early advantage.

For the first time ever, the Houseguests competed in their first "Have/Have Not" competition, which will be a weekly competition that they hope not to lose. Last week "The Brains" were the last to finish and became the first clique to be branded the "Have-Nots." They were placed on food restrictions, given access to only cold showers and banished to the bleak "Have Not" room as their sleeping quarters for the week.

On Sunday, Jessie nominated Lydia and Chima for eviction. On Tuesday, Russell won the Power-of-Veto and chose to remove Lydia from the block. As Head-of-Household, Jessie was forced to chose another Houseguest and ultimately put Braden on the block.

During last night's live broadcast, Braden, the 28-year-old Surfer from Santa Monica, Calif., learned his fate and left the BIG BROTHER House. After his eviction, he was interviewed by Julie Chen about his experience.

After last night's first BIG BROTHER eviction, the Houseguests competed for Head-of-Household in a competition called "Most Likely To..." A member of each clique stood in a stall while their remaining clique-mates stood in line behind them. Julie read questions that were asked of viewers in an online poll and the Houseguests answered how they thought America voted. The winner of each round got to pick among those at the other clique's podium who they wanted to eliminate from the game. The Houseguest with the most correct answers was Ronnie and he became the new Head-of-Household.

The Houseguests:

Braden Bacha, Santa Monica, Calif. - Evicted on Thursday, July, 16

Casey Turner, St. Petersburg, Fla.

Chima Simone, West Hollywood, Calif.

Jeff Schroeder, Norridge, Ill.

Jessie Godderz, Tampa, Fla.

Jordan Lloyd, Matthews, N.C.

Kevin Campbell, Chula Vista, Calif.

Laura Crosby, Atlanta, Ga.

Lydia Tavera, Torrance, Calif.

Michele Noonan, Pasadena, Calif. via Iselin, N.J.

Natalie Martinez, Gilbert, Ariz. via Chino, Calif.

Ronnie Talbott, Belpre, Ohio via Vienna, W.Va.

Russell Kairouz, Walnut Creek, Calif.

The 11th season of BIG BROTHER is broadcast three nights weekly, Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguests will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan and Scott Einziger, in association with Endemol U.S.A.
