NASHVILLE � August 3, 2009 � Direct from The Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Terry Fator brings his headlining act to television when CMT COMEDY STAGE PRESENTS TERRY FATOR LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS premieres Friday, August 28 at 10:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT. Filmed in high-definition earlier this year, the one-hour special features comedic impersonations and sketches, world-class ventriloquism, an audience interaction segment and musical numbers by Fator and friends.

Joining Fator on stage are six of his infamous puppets, including Winston the Impersonating Turtle; Maynard Tompkins; Vicki "the cougar"; and Walter T. Airedale, all collaborating with the ventriloquist on hit songs by Etta James, Sonny & Cher, ZZ Top, The Bee Gees and Lynyrd Skynyrd. With their endearing personalities and musical talents, Fator and friends incorporate a mixture of musical genres into the show. Complete with Elvis imitations and a round of yodeling, Fator brings the excitement of his Vegas show to audiences at home.

It took entertainer, celebrity impressionist, ventriloquist, singer, and comedian Terry Fator 32 years to become an overnight sensation when he captured the country's heart and won first place in NBC's "America's Got Talent". His key decision to blend those incredible skills with his amazing ability to mimic famous singers won over the judges and millions of fans who voted for him. Fator recently signed a five-year deal to headline at The Mirage in Las Vegas and began performing to sold-out crowds in the 1,265-seat Terry Fator Theatre in February.
