New York, NY � September 1, 2009 � Syfy's fall lineup of its popular Saturday original movie franchise �The Most Dangerous Night of Television� will feature the world premiere of Syfy's original remake of Stephen King's Children of the Corn on Saturday, September 26, at 9PM (ET/PT).

In Children of the Corn, starring Kandyse McClure (Battlestar Galactica) and David Anders (Heroes), a couple on the verge of divorce find themselves marooned in a remote Iowa town, where they confront fanatically religious children who kill everyone over 18 so the community can remain pure.

Throughout the fall, Syfy's Saturday original movies showcase, which averages over two million total viewers per week, presents imaginative, escapist thrill rides with stars ranging from Kevin Sorbo (Meet the Spartans), Brittany Murphy (Uptown Girls), Eriq LaSalle (ER) and Jessica Rose (Lonelygirl 15) to Robin Dunne (Sanctuary).
