CMT goes behind-the-scenes as hundreds of hopefuls fight to wear the famous blue and white uniforms when DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS: MAKING THE TEAM premieres Saturday, October 10 at 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT. Now in its fourth season, the eight-episode series reveals the struggles from try-outs to training camp as girls compete to earn a spot on America's most-loved cheerleading squad.

Back to whip the new recruits and seasoned veterans into top performance shape are Kelli Finglass, director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders; Jay Johnson, the no-nonsense fitness trainer; and Judy Trammell, team choreographer. Proving it takes more than just good looks, contestants range from a drag racer to a professional U.S. figure skater, a lawyer and a reigning beauty queen. Finglass, Johnson and Trammell test the rookies for the tough physical and mental stamina required, and wannabes must compete toe-to-toe with veteran cheerleaders for a coveted spot in training camp.

In addition, this year the iconic cheerleaders reveal the secrets behind their physiques for the first time when the first three DVDs in the DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS POWER SQUAD BOD! series hits stores nationwide on Tuesday, October 6 from CMT Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.
