NOLA RISING (NBC, New!) - Diane Ademu-John ("Medium") has booked a new drama at the Peacock about "a down-on-his-luck private investigator and a charismatic ex-con capable of being inhabited by ghosts who become unlikely partners to help solve the problems of New Orleans citizens, living or dead." The project is set up at Universal Media Studios with Yellow Brick Road's Teri Weinberg executive producing. Ademu-John and Alex Hertzberg then are serving as co-executive producers.

ORDINARY PEOPLE (NBC, New!) - Kenya Barris ("America's Next Top Model") is developing a new semi-autobiographical comedy at the network about "a married couple in their late 20s who are fast-tracked professionals with four kids." The husband, Kevin Whitmore, is a Rolling Stone music reporter who, after spending most of his time on the road, "is promoted to columnist and works from home, a change that requires adjustment" from his wife Kelsey and family. Universal Media Studios is behind the half-hour, with Scott Stuber also serving as an executive producer.

UNTITLED ADAM F. GOLDBERG PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Adam F. Goldberg ("Aliens in America") has scored a script commitment from the network for a new comedy about "a group of twentysomething geniuses who are tasked with cracking computer security systems." The single-camera project comes from Sony Pictures Television and Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions. Feature helmer Seth Gordon ("Four Christmases") is attached to direct and executive produce alongside Goldberg, Sandler, Doug Robinson and Jack Giarraputo.
