LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has pulled the plug on its freshman comedy "Hank."
Production will halt with its 10th episode, which taped last night at Warner Bros. Studios.
Various repeats are set to fill the Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c half-hour beginning next week. ABC has five episodes yet to air of the series, which averaged a modest 6.52 million viewers and a 1.66 rating among adults 18-49.
"Hank" joins fellow Wednesday entry "Eastwick" on the chopping block while "The Middle," "Modern Family" and "Cougar Town" received full season pickups last month.
Tucker Cawley created the series and executive produced alongside Kelsey Grammer, Mike Clements and Tom Werner.
[UPDATED: Scheduling updates released by the network indicate repeats of "Modern Family" - "The Bicycle Thief" on November 18 and "The Incident" on November 25 - will replace "Hank" on said nights.]
