OXYGEN PUMPS UP DEVELOPMENT SLATE FOR 2010

BIG HAIR, BIG FASHION AND BIG CELEBRITIES HIT THE SPOT THIS YEAR

"The Russell Simmons Project" (wt), "Fashion Drop" (wt), "Hair Battle Spectacular" (wt), "House of Glam" (wt), "Jersey Couture" (wt) and "When Charlie Met Sarah" (wt) on Development Slate

PASADENA, CA, January 10, 2010 Oxygen's SVP, Original Programming and Development, Amy Introcaso-Davis, today announced a dynamic development slate that taps into the bold and enterprising voice of the channel's audience who lives life on their own terms. This new line-up of development, featuring both aspirational and relatable docu-series, a game show with a twist and an extreme hair competition series, joins the previously announced "The Russell Simmons Project," as the network ramps up its original slate of programming for two nights beginning this Spring.

Building on record ratings growth in 2009 with such hit shows as "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" and "Bad Girls Club" -- both earning their best season ratings ever -- as well as the most watched freshman series in network history, "Dance Your Ass Off," Oxygen has several projects in development.

"We are unveiling a robust development slate filled with new content that expands into a variety of genres and formats," said Amy Introcaso-Davis, SVP Original Programming and Development. "We're continually listening to our audience and our goal, as always, is to give viewers a spectrum of choice across a diverse line up of exciting concepts."

Following is a first look at Oxygen's 2010 development:

"FASHION DROP" (wt)

Oxygen's on the look out for the best-dressed person in the room with the new game show series, "Fashion Drop." Fashion-forward audience members are plucked from the crowd to strut their stuff before a panel of judges and prove that their sense of style beats all others. Each round, players are given a variety of clothing challenges that test not only their eye for fashion sense, but how fast they can put an outfit together under pressure. If the look doesn't make the cut, the contestant is dropped literally through the floor until the last style maven remains standing.

"Fashion Drop" is produced by World of Wonder ("Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood," "Million Dollar Listing"). Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato and Tom Campbell serve as executive producers.

"HAIR BATTLE SPECTACULAR" (wt)

"Hair Battle Spectacular" is a competition series revolving around the outrageous and fantastic superstars of fantasy hair design -- over-the-top tresses created by artists. It's half sculpture, half pop art, and ALL hair. Fantasy hair design draws thousands of enthusiasts to venues all over the country for grandiose performances and contests, with prizes ranging into the tens of thousands of dollars. "Hair Battle Spectacular" will bring 10 of the most talented fantasy hair artists together in one location where they will live, create and compete against one another in a series of escalating weekly challenges. In each episode, the weakest designer is sent packing, and the rest move on to tougher challenges, and ultimately, a $100,000 prize.

"Hair Battle Spectacular" is produced by 3 Ball Productions ("The Biggest Loser," "For Love or Money"). The project was developed by J.D. Roth, Todd Nelson and Adam Greener who also serve as executive producers.

"HOUSE OF GLAM" (wt)

"House Of Glam" follows the trendsetting wardrobe, hair, and makeup stylists of the B. Lynn Group, one of the hottest styling agencies in the entertainment business. With clients such as Diddy, Naomi Campbell, Jamie Foxx, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Ludacris, it's always a hustle to keep their stars in the latest styles. Oxygen's cameras follow this group of tight-knit coworkers that is more like a fashion family than a haughty fashion agency. And Brandi Simpkins, the founder and CEO of B. Lynn Group, is the glue that holds them together. Whether Brandi is tasked to assign a stylist for a photo shoot, a magazine spread, New York Fashion Week, or the Grammy's it's up to these artists behind the artists to make their clients look fabulous.

"House of Glam" is produced by Left/Right Inc. and The Foundry Media Group with Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman, Brandi Simpkins and Charles Suitt serving as executive producers. Sandy Zweig serves as co-executive producer.

"JERSEY COUTURE" (wt)

It's not your usual family run dress shop! From canary yellow beaded sheaths to gold lam, the Scali family offers over-the-top dresses to satisfy every girl's special event needs. "Jersey Couture" is the ultimate dress-up show where running the family business means having a flair for fashion, accessories and the right undergarments. With a no nonsense attitude, the Scali family's extravagant dress store is the premiere glamour stop in New Jersey. Get ready for the Cinderella experience of a lifetime. Whether it's for her bride's maid's needs or her high school prom frills, when it comes to what to wear' to that elegant affair, no one gets the job done like the ladies at Diane and Co.

"Jersey Couture" is produced by Magilla Entertainment.

"THE RUSSELL SIMMONS PROJECT" (wt)

Behind every good man is a great woman but behind every American mogul stands many great women. "The Russell Simmons Project" will offer an exclusive peek at the life of entrepreneur, entertainment and fashion icon, philanthropist and yogi, Russell Simmons and the powerful team of women who runs his businesses. They manage not just his business deals, but also his family life, party planning and love life - a commitment that is 24/7. These associates, who work from his penthouse office on Fashion Avenue in NYC, are entrenched in every aspect of his life. Their glam jobs bring them face-to-face with everyone from former presidents and international royalty to Hollywood's elite. And with many new upcoming projects to juggle in the worlds of fashion, film and television, they certainly have their work cut out for them.

"The Russell Simmons Project" was developed and executive produced by Simmons Lathan Media Group and Picture This Television. Bryan Scott and Lisa M. Tucker serve as executive producers, with Lesley Goldman serving as co-executive producer for Picture This Television.

"WHEN CHARLIE MET SARAH" (wt)

This docu-series takes viewers back to 2005 when Charlie O'Connell (brother of actor Jerry O'Connell) appeared on "The Bachelor" and decided Sarah was the one to end his single days. Since then, their relationship has been on and off due to Charlie's hard-partying ways. Now, they've reconnected and want to make it work for REAL. Currently, Charlie wants Sarah to move in but she won't do that without a ring. Can they overcome all of love's hurdles to rekindle the romance they once had on their first reality show encounter?

"When Charlie Met Sarah" is produced by Nancy Glass Productions ("Kitchen Impossible," "Spice Up My Kitchen").
