"BUSINESS OF FALLING IN LOVE," STARRING HILARY DUFF, TO PREMIERE ON SUNDAY, APRIL 18 AT 8:00PM ET/PT, ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (January 12, 2010) ABC Family's two upcoming original movies will have spring premiere dates. "The Cutting Edge: Fire & Ice," starring Francia Raisa ("The Secret Life of the American Teenager") and Brendan Fehr, will premiere on Sunday, March 14 (8:00-10:00PM ET/PT). "Business of Falling in Love," starring Hilary Duff, with Matt Dallas, Michael McMillan and Chris Carmack, will premiere on Sunday, April 18 (8:00-10:00PM ET/PT). .

In "The Cutting Edge: Fire & Ice," Francia Raisa reprises her role as Alexandra "Alex" Delgado in film franchise, whose figure skating career came to an abrupt halt after her partner (on and off the ice) became injured. As their love affair cooled, a heart-broken Alex stopped competing and turned to teaching. Enter James Van Behr (Fehr), the smoldering bad boy of speed skating, who has had fiery Alex in his sights as a skating partner ever since he was banned from speed skating. There aren't many girls who say no to James Alex may well be the first. However, James pushes her buttons, challenging her like no one else and her fighting spirit returns. She agrees to be his partner and they begin a grueling practice regimen fueled (and occasionally derailed) by their own tempestuous relationship which heats up as they get closer to competition. But will their passion destroy Alex's chance to bring home the gold again?

"The Cutting Edge: Fire & Ice" marks the fourth installment of the successful franchise produced by MGM Television. The movie is directed by Stephen Herek and is written by Holly Brix. It is executive-produced by the MGM team of Craig Roessler, Sara Berrisford and Hudson Hickman.

"Business of Falling in Love," based on the book Diary of a Working Girl by Daniella Brodsky, stars Hilary Duff as Lane Daniels, a bright effervescent fashion journalist whose career and love life come together in a smashing way when she pitches the article "Switching Careers to Find Love" to Cosmopolitan magazine her favorite magazine and ultimate career aspiration. Lane can't believe her luck when the editor goes for it in a big way, handing her the professional opportunity of a lifetime a potential cover story! In order to pull the undercover story off, Lane must first land a corporate job. From there, her mandate is simple find lots of eligible guys in suits in the office and date as many as possible! Lane quickly learns that going to work doesn't just mean wearing a nice suit and going to lunch. Luckily her new boss, Tom (McMillian), takes her under his wing and teaches her the ropes. As she navigates her way through the corporate world, she also meets Seth (Dallas), a hottie on whom Lane develops a crush after he comes to her rescue when the copy machine goes haywire. But her perfect plan goes awry when she meets Liam (Carmack), a gorgeous music producer with a British accent who sweeps Lane off her feet. Her editor's rules for the story are clear Lane can only date the businessmen in her office so Liam is strictly off limits! Lane is forced to choose between what she believes might be love and her Cosmo cover story and the results are far from what she expected to find!

"Business of Falling in Love" is directed by Gil Junger and written by Michael Horowitz. Executive-producers are Hilary Duff, Frank Von Zerneck, Robert Sertner, Ira Pincus and Jessica Horowitz.
